Hello, my name is Amber Kuns and I have been working for DCD Realty for the past 2 years. Chances are, if you call the office during the week, the pleasant voice you hear will be mine. Not only am I in charge of directing phone calls, but I also handle all of our files regarding real estate transactions. Betty lives just beyond the Grand Canyon Caverns (between Peach Springs & Seligman). She lives there full time on an 80 acre ranch with her husband, four horses and 2 dogs.
The community where Betty lives has a population of approximately 300 full time residents. There is a Community Center with monthly breakfasts, and potlucks. The geography is adorned with many Juniper and Pine trees. The area is characterized by cool evenings where air conditioners are rarely necessary.

In 1963 I started as a “Rocker,” (sheet rock hanger) in Fairfield, Calif. In 1989 we moved to Florence, Oregon where we developed and built the first of our Commercial Buildings and our Subdivision on the Siuslaw River with views of the beach and ocean. We were Licensed and Bonded General Contractors in Lane County for 15 years. We built “STREET OF DREAMS” HOMES in both Oregon and Washington. I have conducted building seminars about how to build with Expanded Polystyrene in the States and built a Model Home at the NATIONAL HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION in THE ASTRO DOME parking lot for the PORTLAND CEMENT ASSOCIATION. They brought our building crew in for the show. That was hard work and very enjoyable.
My hobby is “Street Rodding,” presently I drive a red 1948 Plymouth convertible. I have been building and enjoying Street Rods for 51 years. We go to the Rod Shows as often as possible to talk “cars” and meet other Street Rodders from all over the world. There is a very large and enthusiastic car club in Kingman.
We retired to Kingman, AZ. In a very short time I realized Retirement did not work for me, so I decided to join my wife in Real Estate and get my AZ. Real Estate license.

My career in Real Estate began in 1977 in Modesto, Calif. In 1989 we moved to Florence, OR. where we went into building, development and Real Estate. I obtained my OREGON BROKERS license and we continued buying, selling and investing in Oregon for the next 15 years. While we were building contractors, we invested heavily in property to develop and build. We developed and built subdivisions and several commercial projects. Our company specialized in building “green” with Expanded Polystyrene and all of our buildings were Earth Friendly.
My interests are ranching and horses, I currently own two Arabians. This is great riding and Endurance country. I owned and operated B & B Stables in Eugene, OR. For eleven years.

I was raised in Fairbanks Alaska and have moved all over the west side of this wonderful country. Moved to Kingman temporarily and came back indefinitely about 1 year ago. I really couldn’t stay away from here very long. The opportunity for growth and successful investments in Kingman is just too good.
I have a degree in Architectural drafting and design; I worked as an independent contractor doing home remodels and additions. Before becoming a realtor I was an interior designer for Ethan Allen. I fell in love with one of his land developments in Kingman, Arizona, so I sold my home in Phoenix, came to Kingman, and built my dream home.
